THE CHALLENGE
Elevate Academy started as free webinar sessions run by academically strong students who wanted to give back. The demand was immediate, over 1,000 students, 99% positive feedback, and a community built on trust. But growth outpaced the digital infrastructure. Enrollment happened through WhatsApp groups and scattered links. There was no single place where students could browse subjects, compare tutors, enroll, pay, and access recordings. Parents needed confidence. Students needed clarity. Elevate needed a platform that could scale without losing the warmth that made them special.
THE SOLUTION
We're designing and building a custom Phase 1 platform, six pages covering the full student journey from discovery to learning. A programs page with O/L course cards, tutor profiles, and transparent pricing. Course detail pages with syllabus overviews, testimonials, and PayHere enrollment. Student login, sign-up, and a My Learning dashboard with live session access and progress tracking. Plus a public resource library for past papers, notes, and quizzes. The design uses Elevate's coral-and-cream palette with confident, clean copy that speaks to both students and parents.
Deliverables
Course Discovery
Programs listing with O/L and A/L filters, course cards showing subject, tutor, pricing, and one-line descriptions, plus a library of free session recordings on YouTube.
Enrollment & Payments
Course detail pages with clear pricing, tutor bios, and testimonials, wired for secure PayHere payments with immediate access after approval.
Student Dashboard
A My Learning hub with live session banners, per-course progress tracking, and quick links to past papers, notes, and quizzes.
Brand-Aligned Design
Near-black, coral, and cream palette with editorial serif headlines and clean sans-serif body copy, approachable for students, trustworthy for parents.
How we built it
Content & Discovery
Mapped all six Phase 1 pages and wrote complete copy, homepage, programs, course details, auth flows, dashboards, and resource library.
Structure & UX
Designed the browse → enroll → pay → learn flow with course filtering, social proof, testimonials, and a public resource library.
Design & Build
Crafted mobile-first layouts with Elevate's brand palette, course cards, tutor profiles, and student-facing dashboard patterns.
Launch
Finalizing client assets, tutor content, and PayHere integration before go-live.
